For this assignment, I created a 90-second video pitch to present the story I developed in my script and storyboard. The goal was to demonstrate my verbal, visual, and overall storytelling skills.
I began with an on-camera introduction where I clearly explained the core idea of my story, including the main characters, the conflict, and the emotional tone. I focused on speaking with clarity and confidence to keep viewers engaged and make the narrative easy to follow.
To enhance the verbal pitch, I included video clips and storyboard visuals that matched my narration. This brought the story to life and helped the audience better visualize the final project. I also incorporated simple graphics and titles to highlight key points and create a smooth, cohesive flow throughout the video.
I paid close attention to timing to ensure the pitch stayed within the 90-second limit while still delivering a complete and compelling presentation. Each element—voiceover, visuals, and text—was carefully coordinated to support and strengthen the overall message.
This assignment helped me refine my ability to combine various storytelling tools in a concise format. It challenged me to be intentional with every second and reinforced the importance of pacing, clarity, and visual support in a pitch. Most importantly, it gave me greater confidence in presenting story ideas effectively, both on screen and in person.
